Business Awards
Introduced in 1986 to recognise businesses - specifically employers and civil resource owners - for their contributions towards Total Defence. Both CSNS and ACCORD recommended enhancing awards for companies with pro-NS policies or human resource practices, and individuals or employers who are supportive of NS. The NS Advocate Award is the highest accolade awarded to individuals, businesses or organisations for their exemplary support towards Total Defence and in particular, NS. From 2017 onward
NS Mark is a national-level accreditation scheme that recognises businesses and organisations which have put in place policies and human resource practices that support NS and Total Defence (TD). These include initiatives which support NSmen in better balancing their family, work and NS commitments. The scheme also aims to rally stronger community support for NS with the NS Mark recipients leading by example.

WDA presents Tourism and F&B WSQ Awards 2014 to recognize the achievements and outstanding contributions of both individuals and companies who have championed the Tourism and F&B WSQ for the period of 2013.Specifically, with regards to WSQ Training Excellence Award, the award seeks to recognize companies which are Approved Training Organizations (ATOs) for their demonstrations of high level of excellence and commitment in WSQ training. This award has been given in four business categories.
For employers, on the fifth year of their term, the MiDAs League members will be evaluated for NSfriendly policies and management of NS-related matters through an online assessment and/or an on-site visit. Sakae Sushi SPBA - Regional Brands rewards deserving local brands which have successfully penetrated and established significant presence through strategic branding processes in at least 5 foreign markets. A SPBA - Regional Brands winner will be one that has achieved a breakthrough in foreign markets, whilst retaining its true values, transferring the essence of a Singapore brand for a successful venture abroad.
